1. What does MatchRight™ do?
 

MatchRight™ is an innovative tool that simplifies and streamlines the management of employee gift matching and volunteer grant programs. With MatchRight™, you eliminate paperwork; speed up the application and decision-making processes; and effortlessly inform employees about the status of their requests.  MatchRight™ technology allows you to run a “best practice” employee program with a fraction of the time and effort you currently spend.

   
2. What kind of technology is MatchRight™?
  MatchRight™ is “Application Service Provider” technology (commonly called ASP). An ASP is Internet-based software that a client effectively “rents” on an ongoing basis.

The concept of an ASP (as compared to software that companies load on their own computers) is similar to using telephone voice mail instead of an answering machine. Voice mail technology is not located inside the consumer's home; rather, the phone company owns and houses it. A consumer pays the phone company a monthly fee and accesses their voice mail through phone lines.

Just as renting voice mail services allows consumers to avoid buying, maintaining and replacing answering machines, renting ASP computer applications allows companies to avoid buying, installing, supporting and upgrading expensive software applications.

   
3. Is MatchRight® available in a non-ASP format?  (Ie. as purchased software)
  No. MatchRight™ is only available as an ASP.
   
4. How does a user access MatchRight™ technology?
 

You and your employees access MatchRight™ through any Internet-connected computer. By entering the specific Internet address (URL) of your MatchRight™ interface into a browser (i.e., Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Netscape®) and logging onto the site with unique IDs and passwords, users connect with MatchRight™ and can operate it immediately.

   
5. How do employees use MatchRight™?
 

Employees log into your easy-to-use, company-specific interface and create their own dedicated and secure account. Once their account has been set up, they can prepare a request for a matching gift or volunteer grant and submit it online. Employees receive email updates of the status of their requests and can check their accounts for their balance.

   
6. Who handles the technical support (maintenance, hosting and upkeep) of MatchRight™?
  The responsibility for technical support for MatchRight™ rests with GrantStream. MatchRight™ resides on our server and is hosted, maintained, upgraded and modified by GrantStream technicians. Neither you nor your IT staff have to worry about or expend time and effort on software installation, system upgrades, troubleshooting, tech support, compatibility issues and the other headaches that accompany traditional "out-of-the-box" software usage.
   
7. Is MatchRight™ technology available in languages other than English?
  Yes.  MatchRight™ is multilingual-capable and is currently available in English and French; it can be adapted to many other languages.
   
8. Who owns the data (requests) submitted by the applicants?
  Your company owns all of the request data.
   
9. How is our data protected?
  MatchRight™ utilizes high security 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your data’s submission and transmission. Furthermore, your data is stored on secure servers in a highly protected environment and is backed up hourly.
   
10. Can I import my existing data into the MatchRight™ system?
  Yes. We are pleased to work with you to import your current data from virtually any data source including spreadsheets and other databases and systems.
   
11. Can MatchRight™ be customized to meet our needs?
  Yes. Our standard set-up includes many customizations. The MatchRight™ on-line application form is seamlessly linked to your company’s Web site and assumes the same look and feel as your Web pages. The wording of the application form questions, drop down choices and system emails are fully editable. Your review interface (the tool you use to view and manage your requests) is adapted to meet your cost centre, account coding and management requirements. Should you require more significant custom features, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
   
12. Does MatchRight™ generate reports?
  Yes, MatchRight™ delivers powerful standard and ad hoc reporting features that can generate comprehensive reports with a few clicks of your mouse. We work with our clients to develop fully customized standard reports as part of our set-up process. In addition, MatchRight™ offers powerful ad hoc reporting functions that allow users to create reports quickly and easily. See your reports on-screen or generate them as PDF documents that can be saved, emailed or printed.
   
13. Can I export data from the MatchRight™ system for use in other programs?
  Yes. While MatchRight™ offers powerful reporting functions, we recognize that there may be occasions that you need to work with your data outside of the GrantRight™ system. You can download files to Microsoft® Excel (or other software) and manipulate the data as you see fit.
   
14. Once we decide to proceed, how long does it take to get the MatchRight™ system up and running?
  In our experience, a typical set-up usually takes about ten- to twelve-weeks of elapsed time. Most of this time is needed for copy review and translation (if required) by the client.
   
15. Is training included in the set-up?
  Yes. We are pleased to offer on-site training for you and your other users at the location(s) of your choice. We also offer the option of distance training through a combination of teleconferencing and Web conferencing technologies.
   
16. How much time will our Information Technology (IT) staff have to invest in the system set up?
  One of the key benefits of MatchRight™ is that it requires little or no involvement from your IT staff. There is no need to install special software on your company’s computers or servers or to upgrade your systems; therefore, there are no issues with system compatibility, platform integration or maintenance. The sole task is creation of links between your corporate Web site and the online MatchRight™ application form.
   
17. Is MatchRight™ compatible with GrantRight™ technology?
  Yes. The MatchRight™ and GrantRight™ are fully compatible and can be integrated.
   
18. How much does MatchRight™ cost?
   

MatchRight™ service fees are broken into two components:
1. System set-up: initial one time, non-recurring fee; and
2. Annual fee: annual recurring fee.
